Asynchronous Motor Elements
Stators are available with single-phase or poly-phase windings. Slot insulation and winding impregnation comply with class F of VDE 0530 Regulations. Maximum permissible sustained temperature is 155°C. The flexible leads are generally designed with Teflon insulations and are oil resistant. For temperature monitoring, thermal switches (PTC or KTY resistors) can be fitted into the stator. Dimensions are specified in the standard program. Windings are supplied in accordance with customer specifications. All stators have to pass a 100% test with impulse voltage and a high voltage test.
The cage consists of specially selected high-pressure diecasting. This insures almost 100% filling of the slot cavity, so that greater mechanical strength of the rotor is achieved and the out of balance centrifugal forces are low. This inherent balance remains constant.
Special modifications can be made to reach higher speed, for example armouring or closed groove.

The calculation examples should help you to define your own drive design in regards to mechanical dimensions and power values.
